Nicht so Gut
For those who do not understand German, the title of this entry "Nicht so Gut" translates into "Not so Good" in English. And yes, that more or less told you about how my day went.
I woke up with another nightmare (again!) this morning. The nightmare is giving me creeps at the mention of it.
This was how it went:
I dreamt that I met a rapist on my way home one late night. I tried to escape and ran into an old dilapidated house to seek help. To my suprise, I found him in the house. I was so relieved that he was there. For some unknown reason, the rapist gave up his chase. We stayed in the house for a few days and hoped that the rapist would strike again so that we could alert the police.
On the 2nd night, I was in the room and the rapist showed up! He was dragging two helpless victims and I called the police immediately. Unfortunately, he managed to escape in the end. The dream had no particular ending.
It ended abruptly and I woke up in cold sweat. It had me worried for the day. Simply because, I am always going home late whenever I go out. Guess maybe I should start going home early instead. I told Mervyn about the dream and he commented that I always have weird types of dreams. Erm, I do not deny that. But come on, I'm sure everyone has had weird dreams and you wake up asking yourself 'uh what was that all about?' So, I am not some sort of freak! That Mervyn talked as though I'm so 'abnormal' to be having weird dreams. *POKE HIM!* (haha, but thanks for talking to me, Mer! and your calves, please maintain them in shape :P )
It was great to catch up. It's been such a long time since we last had a long MSN conversation!
I was in school today for the final project meeting of the summer! Finally, everything was done up nicely and it has been submitted to Prof T.M. Speaking of the whole project experience, it was pretty horrible especially when you do not have very helpful group mates. For those who I have been complaining and bitching to about this project and the mates, you should know well who I am referring to!
I was f. pissed with her. Seriously, I doubt she will be able to make it far in the harsh society. She commented that she could not help us with the video editing because she is not good with it. I could not be bothered to reply to her comment. Just when the group has reached a consensus that she should be the presenter, she threatened to present in informal wear when presenters were required to be in formal wear. WE SURRENDERED!
She had it all. GOD MUST HAVE GIVEN HER THE SIGNAL TO THREATEN US IN THIS WAY AND IT WORKED!
In the end, Desheng, being the nice guy, presented the project on Tuesday. Prof T.M seemed satisfied with our product. It was good to know that the other project groups had not pulled it off too far with their projects. The videos made were not of that high quality that Prof T.M was looking for. I pray that I will do decently fine on this summer module.
For some unknown reason, the project meeting drained me badly today. We did not do much during the meeting except watching the video a few times over and over again to spot for any changes before submission.
I took a nap in the afternoon and then got up ... ( you guys cannot believe this!) to JOG at Tiong Bahru Park. Of course, I had to drag my brother along for his own good. I refused to divulge how many rounds I jogged for because I know that if I do, I am going to be mocked at! Hehe. It has been many many years since I last jogged. I think it was back in Ngee Ann Poly times the last time I took a run. Probably when I was in year 1. And that was like, 5 years ago?! Anyway, I never liked running/jogging and nothing is going to change that fact. And my leg muscles are aching now. And, I WAS SO DAMN SHOCKED to meet one of my poly classmates there. Lol. I gotta tell Mei about this. I forgot to tell her when I was talking to her earlier on. She will probably laugh her jaws off.
Anyway, it is probably the last run with my brother. He will be serving his BMT from 5th June. Speaking of which, I am a little bit worried for him. I hope he will not have it too tough inside there. Ah well, hope all turns well for him. Not too well for myself though, I am having a flu and I suspected that I caught the virus from one of my project mates. Blame it on my weak immune system.
I am glad that many still care for me. Many thanks to Rubbish Mei, Mervyn and Candy! Care and concern showed from various friends on MSN upon ... the sight of my MSN nick (time to change it). Even from the people whom I'd never expect - I am really gladful to know that they are still 'hanging' there.
I hope there is more to come. I had set up this blog so that I could jot down happy events as opposed to the previous private blog I had which contained the unhappy moments. I was told that I should write down the happy times I have.
As much as I want to do so, I still failed. I was told by someone that it isn't easy to be Wendy Wee. And, I am starting to believe in that.
