Way Back into Her Heart

For the first time since I set up this blog, I've finally got happy moments to jot down here. And, to the courtesy of emobat (so as he claims, hehe!) ! Okay, for those whom I've been pouring my sad story to, I am glad to let you all know that we've resolved our issue at last! *hooray! I decided to take the initiative to attempt to resolve the issue with him last night by sending him a text.

I was with Yen and co (MJ, Minghui and Rose) at Ah Chew last night and spent quite a fair bit of time discussing on BGR issues. And... I told them what happened between us. I was quite amazed by the considerably great amount of advice I received from them. I only managed to digest their words properly when I had some private time in the bus to think through everything. I guess I learnt from Minghui and MJ (the seemingly expert BGR consultants) that a mutual understanding is important and essential to building a long-term relationship. Since he hasn't tried to speak to me for the past few days, I must have done/said something wrong which upset him as well. Shortly after I sent him a text, he called.

Erm, I was actually contemplating whether I should pick up the call because I did not really know what to say. As for the details to the phone conversation, let's skip it, okay?! LOL. Alright, and to another couple who just resolved their problem as well, congrats to Lilian and Caleb. It was pretty funny that the first thing we complained was about our boyfriends when we met up for shopping yesterday! But I am really glad that the bad has gone away and I hope the good will come and stay with us.

What made the good even better was (since he must be reading this), I want to tell him that : 我被你的萝卜汤再次骗去了!Good for him and not so good for me right? Now, he knows that the way to my heart is to make delectable soup for me! By this statement, I meant that he has not gotten my heart FULLY unless he learns to make more of other variety of soup LOL!
A piece of cake to him, I am sure. I have loads of confidence in him after witnessing the high potential he has in being a household man *giggles

Bringing my mind back some hours ago, he was cutting the carrots and soaking the dried scallops busily. I just couldn't help giggling to myself now. It was a totally different side of him; so as he claimed. I could not agree more. The soup turned out to be a success! It was delicious and I loved it. All along, I'm a huge fan of soup (be it Chinese or Western types of soup). Hehe, what does this mean? Even if the soup he made for me did not taste nice, I would still love it. Not because I appreciate his efforts, but simply because I really love drinking soup! *Oops, the truth hurts! Hey, I'm not insinuating that the soup tasted awfully! It was lovely, and it was one of the best soups I ever had! So, have I done some credit to it now? Hehe. Thanks for everything! ILY.

Speaking of food, I think I need to reduce my food intake for the next week or so to lose some weight. I must not succumb to the temptations around me! Probably this is a really good time for me to be disciplined. Hehe, I mean, I've been wanting to lose some weight sometime ago. Sad to say, my efforts are not showing results. I just can't seem to understand how did I manage to put on 3-4kg within a short period of time. Just last school semester (Aug - Dec 07), my weight was 'satisfactory'! (I'm not gonna reveal my weight here, hehe, but 'satisfactory' in my dictionary!) I wonder how can I shed off 3-4kg.

The only factor which I could think of that contributed to the weight increase could be a higher frequency of hunger experiences. It seemed to happen more frequently. I just feel hungry within a short while after meals and I have no idea how I should tackle this problem. If I continue to nibble on snacks after meals, I will definitely put on further weight. This ain't getting me anywhere near my goal of shedding off 3-4kg. Time to think of a concrete and acheivable plan to help me with this. I am willing to take in ideas, but not very receptive to the idea of jogging though. LOL. Others, please?

(When I am typing this, my mind has drifted away and am now salivating over the bah zhangs I will get on Dumplings Festival!) I need a slap!
