the cost of their inefficiency

Who is "their" that I am referring to here? SAF MMI. My brother was scheduled for an appointment today at SAF MMI at 1430. I accompanied him there and the news we got was that the doctor was on leave. The staff at MMI claimed that they called and sms-ed him in the morning as soon as they heard that the doctor took sudden sick leave. My brother said he did not get any missed calls or sms-es from them. I was like " uh? shouldn't they just inform the officers in charge at the camp so they could inform my brother in time ? " I told them that.. with my cheesed-off face. The staff (all males); they looked pretty intimidated when I argued my way through that it was unlikely that they could get my brother on his mobile since my brother could not turn on his mobile in the camp. Dang! They were apologetic and asked if I would like to feedback. Of course I did. I hope they would do something about it.

The cost of their inefficiency:

My dad drove us to NUH and it cost fuel and time. Travelling around under the scorching sun gave me headache. Because of the headache, I am resting now and am unable to meet Michelle tonight. We were supposed to go Arab Street together as agreed since last week. See? That is the cost of their inefficiency!

I need many pianos to drop it on their heads. Grr.
