excruciating pain
The menstrual cramps gave me hard time for the whole day yesterday! Grr. *sighs. It's so tough being a girl. Every time of the month, the pain can be so extreme that it disrupts my daily activities. I just cannot do anything but lie on the bed and rest. My mother advised me to take some painkillers but I'm really stubborn to take pills because I think it's so troublesome. Hopefully this awful period will pass soon.
I met up with Candy and Mervyn for lunch yesterday and we had some Indonesian food. It was some fried chicken wings with rice. I think the chicken wings were abit too much; and it gave me a bit of sore throat after eating it. It was my first time having Indonesian food though. I think it's not bad and definitely will not mind trying it again! LOL. The lunch was pretty heavy and it kept me full for the whole day. It was a short lunch since Candy had to go back to her office after the standard 1-hour lunch. We walked her back to her office and also shopped a little at Square 2. Hehe, bought a pair of shoes from Mondo for work! The store is having a 20% sale now. Shopaholics, you may want to check it out!
Anyway, many thanks to Mervyn for accompanying to look for crystals at Spotlight too. Unfortunately, the shop did not have the crystals I wanted. I guess I'd need to make a trip to Arab Street. Next week then! I still have yet to figure out where is Arab Street! I will find out soon; I hope.
I'm so excited about going to Bangkok end of the year! Can't wait to go shopping there... and also visit the tourist attractions there! I think it's a headache trying to find the accomodation. I was looking online for the hotel accomodations. The hotel accomodation seems pretty affordable. I'll be going with Mr Wu and some of his friends along with their partners. I hope it'll be fun!
All we need to do now is to decide on the number of people going and also on the dates.. before we can proceed on with other arrangements. The planning may be a bit of a headache... but also interesting and exciting. I can't wait for everything to work out!
