a state of discomfort
Who on earth would believe CarrouseL if she says she doesn't enjoy playing mahjong for any once? Nobody! But it is the gospel truth. I did not really enjoy yesterday's mahjong session with Mr Wu's friends. Yeap, that explains the blog title. Erm, for some reason, I don't really fancy his friend and the friend's girlfriend.
Anyway, the discomfort came about because I was sitting on the bed to play mahjong without any good support for my back. With that going on, I simply CANNOT enjoy the mahjong session. It is aching quite badly now. To be specific, the lower back area. Alright, perhaps that was my punishment for being too evil to my xia jiao. I guarded the player in an extremely cautious manner. LOL. She doesn't really have any chance to take any tiles from me. Well, just too bad for her I guess. Alright, I'll stop being so mean now. Of course, I couldn't really click with the people as well. Not that there is something wrong with them, I guess we're just on a different frequency. I couldn't catch their jokes sometimes.
I think I'd prefer playing with my girls, the uni friends and some of Mr Wu's friends. It seems that you enjoy better when you have people whom you can click with. Or rather, if you just got to know them, the people make a difference too. If they appear to be friendly and approachable, it makes the whole ice-breaking session easier, isn't it?
Oh well, I am chatting with Angeline on msn now and she was asking if I turned up for the commencement yesterday. *sighs*
Since I gave up the chance, I should not be lamenting over my absence. To begin with, I did not feel like going for it either. If you ask me, I'd still think that it's a pity to have skipped it. I know that.
The weekend is almost over. Time flies when you're having fun! I will be going down to the Coach boutique to take a look at the bags and pick the one I 'd like to buy from US. I should be heading out to town with my mother in the afternoon.
In the evening? Sending my brother off to Tekong again. The same has been going on for the past few weeks. I do hope and keep my fingers crossed that he is not having a too hard time inside. I'm in the midst of planning a family dinner on the 27th July, Sunday. If anyone has any good recommendation of chinese restaurants, please let me know!
