no more
No more long weekend for me. I was informed by the agency that I'd not be paid if I miss work on Monday even though it is a London holiday. *sighs* Of course I do not wish to forgo the pay - so I requested to work the morning shift instead so that there'd be something for me to do at office on Monday. Sad for me uh? Contract staff lead a sad life. They get bullied by the agency!
Anyway, I am glad that I am finally making a bit of progress at work. I handled one or two queries over the phone today. They were calls from Credit Suisse London. Actually, I was so worried that I might say the wrong thing and rather say things that are beyond their comprehension. Thank god, the queries were not that hard to understand.
I got news from Mr Wu earlier on that mahjong on Saturday might be cancelled as he could possibly be called back by the army. Boo! I haven't mahjong-ed for the past two weeks. So sad. I'd like to play mahjong but not that badly as I would expect myself to be. I think Mr Wu wants to play mahjong more badly. LOL. So what has gotten over the Mahjong Queen exactly? Hmmm... work I guess? I have got to admit that I really look forward to playing mahjong when I am schooling. Things are a bit more different when I started working. I look forward to going out more and perhaps meeting up with my friends.
I have no idea why I feel so much like getting out of Singapore all of a sudden. I need a short getaway. I wonder if the getaway in Rawa Island is still on; haven't gotten any news from the girl on these. Then again, I might not be able to join them since my London shift is extended till end of September if the girls plan to leave on a Friday night.
Grrr. I am famished. I've been having stomach problems recently. Last night, I suffered an acute pain on the left side of my stomach. It hurt when I ate Kinda Bueno in the office also! Yikes...I wonder if it has worms inside. There was once I watched a bio documentary. It featured worms in human bodies. Damn disgusting lah! Some of the worms were ... as long as .... (I don't know what is the right word to describe). LOL.
Before I get any nightmares.... we better stop now.
