Thank god it's friday! The working week is drawing to an end. Yay! Well, I am looking forward to the weekend. Usually, I will be playing mahjong at Mr Wu's place on Saturdays. This time, it seems hard to find people to mahjong. Hopefully Mr Wu will be able to find people to mahjong tomorrow; am still waiting for his answer.

Anyway, something strange happened last night. As some of the Chinese may know, it's the first day of Hungry Ghost Festival today. In fact, it was already the first day of Hungry Ghost Festival when the clock struck past 12 mn yesterday. I was still in the office. My colleague left at 12mn and went down to get a cab home. Normally, there'd be countless cabs waiting at the bus stop for late workers like us. My colleague went down and she told us that there was no single cab! She had to book a cab. It was quite a weird incident. We all wondered where the cabs had disappeared to yesterday. My stupid colleague kept on scaring us by saying that the cabs must have hidden away because of the Hungry Ghost Festival. LOL. Yikes, I'll be working night shift for this month... hope nothing spooky happens to me.

I'm supposedly to go to Lilian' s housewarming party tonight. Well, I can't make up my mind whether to go or not. I mean, it'll be so late by the time I go over and most people would have left. I think it'll be around 2am if I go over. Just like I said, my social life has been affected and it will be for the rest of the month.

At least August is here. I wish 29 will be here soon too.
