a bad start
The week started badly; I had a lot to do at work yesterday and I only managed to leave work at 2ish am. This timing is considerably late for me I guess. Or rather for the NDF confirmations
team? Hehe.. and boss level 1 left before me and DH! How could that happen? What exactly is the world coming to? LOL. Boss level 1 is 'relaxed' in terms of knocking off from work. I was dead beat when I got home from work. Speaking of tiredness, I guess it can't be compared to the tiredness Mr Wu has from work and studies.
As much as I would like him to sleep enough, he seems to have endless work which could keep him up through the night. That really pushes me to wonder if he has made the right choice to juggle between work and studies. Guess his decision has created some repercussions which he knows it the best himself and might have not liked it to happen. Still, I respect his decision and will root for him. It's just sad that I'll only be able to meet him on Friday since he'd be busy on the other days of the week. Again, I am looking forward to the weekend! What am I thinking? It's only Tuesday.
I've been thinking a lot recently. What will happen to me when I move to the processing team? What are the people like there? It seems to me that I doubt I can find anyone I can talk to there. Aye, I guess I need to stick firm to the objective of going there to learn and pick up as much as I can instead of thinking who I can click with over there. Sometimes, I am so envious of those people who get along with everyone in the team so well. It seems as though he/she has cast a magic spell on the people and everyone favours him/her.
On the other hand, I also worry about what will happen to me after my contract ends. Will I be able to convert to a permanent position over there? But then again, is this what I'd like to do? I am getting tired of the monotonous work I am doing. I can't imagine that there are people who work on the same boring stuff for over 20 years. My boss level 1?! What kept her going on? I salute to her.
It'll be my brother's POP tomorrow. Yay! But too bad, I can't be there. The event will start in the morning. Despite the fact that I could have gone (since I start work only in the afternoon), each recruit is only allowed to bring two family members. Well, so my sister and mother will go then. I am glad that it's all over for my brother. Three months ago, we were still worried about him and he was in low spirits as well.
Hopefully he'd be posted to a good unit; but I'd hope more for the fact that he'd do his best, be it a good or bad unit he'd be posted to.
I just got out of bed not too long ago; and now it's almost time for me to get ready to go work.
This really sucks.
