My heart sank when I got wind of the financial meltdowns during work today. That'll probably mean that it is harder than ever to secure jobs now. Singapore's unemployment rate rose and I start to fear for my future. I guess there is no point thinking about it now. What has to come will come.

What will become of the disheartening situation in a few months' time when I finish my contract job? Will it get better?

I really don't want to think of it anymore. Just thinking of it tires me out.
