ponytail no more

I cut my hair yesterday! I miss being able to tie my hair. LOL. Initially I was contemplating whether I should cut my hair short. I mean, I've always had long hair. This is the first time I have this short hair. The stylist advised that I should not cut it any shorter because it'd be more fluffy and messy. Well, no regrets. Comments had it that I look completely different with the new hairstyle. Most importantly, Mr Wu loves it too.

I met up with Mr Wu after my haircut ...and of course, we took some pictures with my new hairstyle:

My colleagues were surprised that I cut my hair out of the blue. Still, I am glad that I received positive comments. Actually, even if the hairstyle is bad, I doubt anyone would tell me straight. LOL. What surprised me most was, the director told me that it looked great... you see, if he 看我顺眼, then higher chance of securing my rice bowl right? LOL. Maybe I'm just deceiving myself here. With regards to finding a job, I'll just take it as it comes. Somehow I wish I am still studying.

Maybe then I don't have to worry about finding a job yet? Speaking of which, the working environment in my team is stern and serious. Everyone's buried in work and nobody has the time to give me proper training. I will feedback to the manager/director if this continues on. The team is also weird? They do not lunch together and they will have their own plans. Thank god, I have meimei and fred as lunch companions. I must say that, I am really lucky to have known them. At least, they are one of the few people I could connect to in the bank. Actually, I am glad that... I've met quite good and friendly people around since I started work. Except for...... the lady who sits next to me?

She is absolutely cold and ... doesn't talk much at all. Even when I talk to her sometimes, she may not respond too. I heard from a small bird that she has been in her own world all along. She does not talk to people much. Alright then, if this is her style, I doubt I will bother to talk to her unless necessary where work is concerned. Nevertheless, I am thankful that she did manage to help me with some stuff. Perhaps she isn't that bad afterall.

I'll be sure to get my ass outta here (the team) once I find the right place to be in.

Meanwhile, I hope that things will flow smoothly for me. Perhaps, I should think of how to make the best out of this.

I gotta think hard on this.
