Maybe it isn't something that I've always wanted to do. Nevertheless, I should just count myself lucky to be able to get a job at this time when the job market is awfully bad. Beggars can't be choosers right? (I learnt that from Mr Wu, LOL!)
I'll be joining Options Trade Support in a month or so. I received the job offer on Friday and I was relieved. I attended the interview last Wednesday and I was feeling pretty worried during the interview. The manager knows me personally because my sister introduced me to her. There were two other interviewers besides the manager. I also know one of the other interviewers. I was pretty thankful that they did not try to make the interview too difficult for me. Of course, I did some preparation work the night before the interview as well. I'm glad that I passed it.
My manager was informed that I received a job offer in another team and she told me that she'll have to make some internal arrangements before I could be released to join the other time. Well, I'll still have one more month with the current team. The remaining one month will be the notice I've got to serve. I guess it'll be a complicated and tedious process to convert me to a permanent basis. The bank is hiring aggressively; hehe.. and of course, I wanna make referrals and ... into my pocket will be the referral fees. Imagine the things I can buy with that kind of money! I will be smiling in my dreams every night. LOL!
Speaking of which, I've spent a lot of money this weekend.
The money I spent on: (the expensive items, *sighs*)
1) Dress from Dorothy Perkins
2) Braun Buffel wallet for Mr Wu
3) Pearl necklace from Tangs
Anyway I'm glad that Mr Wu is happy with his new wallet. Look at him; he cannot stop smiling:

And the following picture displays his bad organizational skills:
Receipts, receipts and more receipts...

I picked a good one I hope:

I've got to be more frugal with the amount I've set aside to last till end of the month. And... I hope it can last me till the end of the month. It might be a little hard though. I've asked my sister to get me a Miu Miu purse from Italy and I've got to pay her back when she returns. Though it does bring a big pinch to my heart, I'm still looking forward to the new purse! Hehe... can't wait to see the purse.
My weekend was so 'ticklish'!
Mr Wu and I went for the fish spa at one of the shops in Chinatown. LOL! I couldn't stop screaming and laughing aloud in the shop when I dipped my hands and feet into the water. It was a pity that the shop does not allow its customers to take pictures; otherwise....
I would have taken photos of Mr Wu! He looked so timid...LOL! Hehe..one of the workers commented that his girlfriend was more brave than him. I dipped my hands and feet in the water first before him. He hesitated for so long and couldn't stop giggling. We were pretty noisy; our laughters and my high pitch screams.. the thought of it makes me smile behind my computer now. The overall fish spa experience was pretty enjoyable and I recommend it to those who have yet to give it a try!
I hope to go on the SG flyer and that shall be the next thing to do on the list with Mr Wu. I've been wanting on the flyer but I think the ticket is a bit steep.
I should think that it's still something to go for. And musicals!
I'm set on going to Wild Wild Rose musical with Mr Wu in Jan 2009. I've always loved musicals... and this one looks nice:
