our first musical, Wild Wild Rose
My weekend was fantastic! :)
I went with Mr Wu to the Wild Wild Rose musical on Saturday. We enjoyed the musical and I was glad that the decision to watch the musical was a worthwhile one. The tickets were well sold and seats were almost full on Saturday. Haha, the best part was we saw Michelle Chia and her boyfriend there too! She was absolutely pretty... they sat on the first row and while me and Mr Wu sat 2 rows behind. This time, I have to praise Mr Wu that he was smart to get tickets near to the stage. Otherwise I think it wouldn't have been so enjoyable. The songs were nostalgic and were originally sung by a famous Chinese songstress, Ge Lan. As I am typing this entry, I am also playing her songs on youtube at the same time.
Hehe... of course we took some pictures to commemorate our first musical together:

Oh well, fun is now over. It's time for work again tomorrow. What a dread right? Perhaps some people who are in the midst of finding jobs will find that I am talking nonsense here. I guess it's only when you've started working for months and months... and then you find no end to work. That is what gets you the most. The only motivation for me now is MONEY. Hehe... ever since I started work, I realised that there are tons of things I want to get. LOL. I'm considering to get a Miu Miu bag...which will cost me 1K ish. First of all, to buy that kind of big-ticket item, I have to save up first. Perhaps saving 10 K a year (at least) should be one of my new year resolutions for 2009.
I'm also working towards... cutting body mass in 2009. That would mean to eat less and... try to get some exercises? LOL. I'm thinking of joining some yoga classes but I dislike the idea of going to yoga classes alone. Grr.. Jogging? I hateeeee this word.
Alright...enough of this. I went to Chinatown with Mr Wu today and we visited this shop in Pearls' Hill Centre. The shop is especially interesting if you 're a big mahjong lover! It sells many types of mj tiles... the animal tiles varied as well! The chips were so colourful.. hehe and Mr Wu bought some bright pink chips (I picked the colour) and we bought some red translucent dice! We were thinking of organising a mahjong session today but we were lack of a leg (assuming Angus can make it for mahjong today.) Hehe... Angus has sort of become our regular mj khaki already. With the new mahjong chips and dice, I'm craving to play mahjong now!
Sadly though, I haven't got any luck with mahjong recently. Or rather since the start of 2009?!
Speaking of which, this is my first entry of the year!
Happy new year to those who are reading this!
