good to be back at work with some cons
It's my first day back at work after 2 days of leave I took on the 23 and 24 March. I only found out today how unlucky I was. The weekly Monday meetings I have with London for this week was cancelled. I mean, why did it have to be cancelled when I took leave? LOL. The town hall meeting which was postponed to 24 March got rescheduled again. Again, it got postponed when I was on leave. It was a chance for me to escape from this stupid town hall meeting. A meeting which starts only at 2030 and we will have to wait for 2.5 hours after 1800.
Please, how unlucky can I be? I planned my leave properly to 'escape' from these. LOL. Well, perhaps not exactly to escape from them. Of course anyone would plan it such a way to have a long break.
I felt glad to be back at work because I was already bored from the long leave since yesterday afternoon. When I told my colleagues I was bored, they all laughed at me and told me I was so silly. LOL. Maybe I just like to be kept busy. Having something to do beats having nothing to do.
Yeap, indeed good to be back at work with some cons? I'd have to train my colleague on my current role, juggle with my BAU and learn trade support role for the coming week. Today was the start. I felt really tired and kinda stressed out. There were just tons of things for me to learn and take on. I start work at 8ish am and end around 6ish pm now. Hopefully I won't go beyond 8ish pm. I'll just drop dead on my desk.. LOL. This period is gonna be hard for me I guess.. Hopefully I can hang on and prove my worth to the people around me.
Can't wait for the weekend to arrive! On hearing that Mr Wu's contract will be extended for another three months, I really wanted so much to plan another trip with Mr Wu.
My mind is drifting to Bali already..
