a day of fatigue beyond words

My day started early in the morning at 6am. My family and I woke up to get ready for the yearly tomb-sweeping event. This year, my family decided to visit my grandfather's tomb later than usual to avoid the traffic jams and crowds. Indeed, traffic jam was minimal. We arrived at Lim Chu Kang at around 8am after encountering some difficulties in locating my grandfather's tomb. Oops. The paths inside there were confusing and getting around even became an obstacle to my dad who is a cab driver for years. LOL.

After we were done with what we were to do at the tomb, it was time to fill our stomachs. My sister drove us to Bugis where we had our breakfast. Because it was still early in the day, they suggested doing some shopping at Great World City. I was really tired after I got home from Great World. Despite so, I went over to Mr Wu's place after a shower and some rest. Since I was too tired to go anyway, we just stayed home to catch a DVD. We watched a horror flick titled "A Midnight Meat Train". Lol, I was pretty glad that Mr Wu allowed me to watch my all-time choice of horror movie today!

The movie was really gruelsome with a lot of blood and butchering scenes. Yikes! For those who are interested, you may visit this site: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0805570/

Enough of those thoughts in my mind. I need a good sleep tonight after a long day!

It's been a really long break for me this week since I did not have to work on Good Friday. I would say that my break has been well-spent so far and I enjoyed it. Mr Wu and I went cycling at ECP yesterday and we were so lucky to have left the place before the rain started. We thought that the recent rainy trend would spoil our plan and thank god we were lucky this time. Because it has been such long time since I did some exercise, the 2-hour paddling I did was tiring. Well, Mr Wu must have been more tired than I was yesterday. He was the one who did the strenous paddling because I couldn't cycle and he had to take charge of a double bike. Sometimes, it is to be doing something different away from the city.

It's the last day of my break tomorrow before I return to office. I had better make sure that I enjoy it fully because the next break is only going to be in May :(
