almost there, baby
I'm happy for boyfriend and myself. We're finally there! I can't wait to go for a short getaway in Penang in October. The trip is scheduled to 3D2N. This time, it probably wouldn't just be the two of us. He'll be inviting his friends as well. Actually, his JC friends initiated the idea. I did some research on Penang and thought that it could be an interesting place for a short getaway. It is cheap to go there as well. Most importantly, we need to find an hotel that is safe to stay in and near the city area. I am doubtful about the safety in Msia. Nevertheless, I gathered from a Malaysian colleague that Penang is pretty safe and has a few interesting places to go to. Though it'd be a good idea if it's just the two of us alone, I don't really mind going with his friends too. Maybe it'd be a totally different and fun experience. As long as I get to spend some good time with boyfriend, the trip is definitely a worthwhile one.
Even if his friends are not coming with us, we'll go there still. Speaking of trips, my big boss and her family met up with a horrible car accident in Genting. All thanks to the van rental company. They rented a mini van and the driver realised that the brakes could not function. I pray hard that her two-year old daughter will recover soon. I can't imagine the pain that the poor little girl had to go through at such a young age. Hopefully things will turn out fine eventually. For those who are planning to go Msia, please make sure that you've taken all the safety precautions you have.
Oh well, enough of the tragic. I spent the evening with boyfriend.. and though the time was short, I was still contented. I've been wanting to try out SKII miracle water and he bought it for me yesterday! Silly him. I really appreciate his thought. Still, I do feel a bit bad that he spent this kind of money for 75ML of WATER. Lol, I hope it'd produce some good side effects for the value of money involved here.
No special plans for Saturday yet. Except that, I'm probably going shopping again. What's new? LOL. At least, I don't think I'll touch MJ tiles this weekend. So hey, that's something new! Though I've been having frequent mood swings lately, I hope I can still enjoy the precious weekend. Maybe not? I've got some work to finish up. That really sucks right? I still need to think of work on a weekend. I should be relaxing, shouldn't I?
I can't wait for Monday. I'm expecting some good news. No more Monday blues. I managed to change my block leave to end Nov. There'll probably be another trip again. Maybe Bangkok?! LOL. I should start saving money for the trips.
