filled with jadishness
I concluded something from work today. It isn't about the long hours you stay at work. It is about the intensity you face at work. It is the intensity that wears you out easily. Though there were several issues at work, I managed to finish work by 1830. A lot of breaks resulted from some manual trade amendments in a system by London. I was kinda stressed out by these breaks. It generated over 60 breaks and had to study the breaks one by one. Though time-consuming and tedious, I was glad that my manager and I reached a consensus for a solution. Now, it's pending investigation with London. Hopefully I'll get some good news when I check the mails tomorrow.
As tired as can be, I was glad that I managed to spend a nice evening with boyfriend still. Good times like these probably wouldn't last. He's probably going to be on UK shift starting September. Can't imagine how empty I'd feel after work. :( I've no idea what I should be doing. Maybe I need to find something to do. The more I think of it, the worse I feel. It seems like he's my everything in life. Time to find some independence?
I guess, I should stop thinking of all these because it'd just make me even more sad. Hmmm... we had better cherish all the time we can spend together for now. We've stopped arranging mahjong sessions on the weekends now. I begin to realise that weekends are more important to me than ever now. And... I just want to spend the weekends with him alone without any disturbance. I also started a photo album on Facebook to capture every little thing we did on the weekends. Hopefully I'll be able to add on more photos of us to the album this weekend :)
I just got news that yx broke up with her boyfriend. I've no idea how to comfort or advise her. It seemed that her extreme negativity always takes the better side of her. It is very obvious that she does love her boyfriend a lot but she appeared as though his actions are of no concern to her. And the worse was, she tried to match-make him with some other girls. When I heard about it, I felt so sorry for the boyfriend. I know her boyfriend too. Though she is my close friend in Barcap, I have to say that I do not agree with her actions sometimes. She doesn't think that the relationship would work in the first place and told me that she was 'compelled' to agree to the relationship. Well, then she shouldn't even have wasted the guy's time.
Now that they've broken up, she should be relieved, shouldn't she? If she has no place for him in her heart, she shouldn't even have accepted him in the first place. On the contrary, she should do what a girlfriend should if she decides to be with him. I do find that she's a bit weird in this sense. I've got no idea what's on her mind. Somewhat, I feel that I can't talk to her on the same wavelength. It just sets me into thinking. I seem to have no friends at work... no true friends. Most of them are just colleagues. People whom I wouldn't tell too much to.
Haha, Nic asked me a funny question today. She was being random again. Her question went, "Have you and BX talked about getting married soon?"
I was like "HAR, please continue your drawing, Nic!" To be honest, I haven't given any serious thought on the topic. Haha, I don't know about boyfriend. Maybe he has. I believe he has thought about it many times lah. Haha... he is dying to marry me! LOL...... Oops. Guess I'm just not ready yet. He just gotten himself a job and of course cash makes the world go. Let's be practical here at our age... We are just hoping that we can save some money first. I am very sure that both of us will be ready when the time is right.
In the meantime, work hard, boyfriend! ;)
Alright, time for bed now. 9 hours of sleep to clock. Awesome.
