High volume of trading today.
2 down and 4 on 2 roles;

1/2 is there but not there. She got into office today and the feeling I got upon her presence was bad. Indeed, an email from London knocked on my door. They reported a break and I managed to solve it within an hour. I tracked down the items which caused the break. It was resolved later with a long explanation to the big heads. The big shot was especially concerned about my role and she wants to be very certain that the coverage of my reconciliation is complete without any flaws.

The mad rush started right in the morning. It left me no time to do my own role until 4ish. I was covering for my colleague as well. Two of them took the whole morning to check six tough structured products. I couldn't believe that she was the first to leave for lunch without offering any help. Well, she doesn't make me believe that there'll be good managers around.

After the long lunch she took, she continued on with some phone entertainment. I packed up by 710 and left the office for my facial in town.

I splurged 177 SGD in just an hour. Boo!

This month is crap so far. The last thing I want to do is to talk to anyone now.

I need sometime to myself to relax and prepare for bed. The weekend smell is here!
