a big relief

I was so relieved to hear from my manager that my posting error did not cause any financial loss. In fact, I told her I was feeling really bad about the error. She asked me not to feel too bad because errors are inevitable and that I shouldn't think so much since I've done my best at work. I was so shocked that she said those words to me. I thought she'd pull long face at me for at least a week.

LOL. The trick to pick up here is if you want to err, err at the right time. Right time? When your boss just returns after a long holiday in a happy mood. At least it works for me. Of course, that shouldn't give me any more excuse to make mistakes. I have to be extremely cautious. Today wasn't exactly a good day for me. I've received a feedback on my performance during the weekly call conference. She told me about the things I could improve on and how to explain the breaks in a clearer manner. Things like , updating the management about the ongoing project (which I have no idea about how it is progressing) could be improved on. Who could I have discussed with? Nobody.

I would take the feedback to be constructive. But hello? I am not even updated on the progress of the project and how can I update the rest about it?

Absolute rubbish.

Yes, I'd try to do better but there is only this much I can do and they need to understand this. Year-end appraisal is coming. I am going to FEEDBACK.

If I am going to get marked down because of this, it will be so unfair to me.
