our lovely Phuket trip
We returned to Spore yesterday, landed around 1330. The trip was generally enjoyable. Though I was moody at times during the trip, Mr Wu never failed to cheer me up with shopping and more shopping at those gigantic malls. Hehe.. to be honest, I did not really buy myself anything. I didn't see anything I fancy. All I bought was a set of bikini and a sundress for myself! I figured out that a set of bikini wasn't enough and so I bought another one at a night market in Patong.
I am more pro at bargaining now?! You have to bargain so much when you're in Phuket. When I wanted something I'd bargain. If I don't get the right price, I'd walk away. Usually, the shop owners will give it to you. The shop owners often quote high prices and are willing to cut it down by more than 50% when you walk away.
I love Phi Phi. It's really beautiful and it's a place you must go to when you visit Phuket! Here's a picture of Mr Wu and myself at Phi Phi. The water's so clear!
The island tour was fun but it was such a pity that I can't swim! Things like snorkelling and swimming are out for me. :( Haha, I should pick up swimming soon!
Things we did in Phuket are more or less reflected in the pictures I uploaded on Facebook. The only disappointing fact about Phuket was the tom yam soups we had for every dinner. Haha, it wasn't up to our expectation. We were expecting very high standard authentic tom yam soups served.
Oh well, we lose some and gain some from the trip I guess. I was quite glad that we did not spend away all the Thai baht we had. That means, we spent less than 800 SGD! Initially I was still worried that 800 SGD might not be enough for both of us. Haha.. brought back a lot of snacks from Phuket. So much so that we trouble bringing back and we almost couldn't zip up the luggage. LOL.
No idea why, getting nervous about returning to work. The break was too long for me to take it I guess. I'm worried about the changes at work.
I am even thinking of going back to office on this Saturday to check my emails.
Suddenly, I am hating work even more.
Blues now. I want to MAHJONG and SHOP even more.
I want Mulberry and Tiffany! My sister will be going to US in May and I can't wait for her to return with my Tiffany desires! But that's still so far away :(
I'd like a Mulberry Classic. Whether that is going to happen depends on my bonus.
