more sleep, shopping and mahjong

The last Monday of March today marks the last leave I'll take for March too. Haha, my next leave will be on 26th April. :( that'll be a long time away.

Weekend was extremely tiring. I went for tomb-sweeping at 7 AM on Sunday morning. We set off from my place at 7 AM and guess what, we only reached Choa Chu Kang cemetery at 9AM! The roads were badly congested... and my dad was not very sure of the paths to take turns in the cemetery. I was really grumpy because I am not a morning person at all! A lot of cars, taxis, vans, lorries.... the only striking vehicle was a BMW Z4 series parked on the main path at CCK cemetery. And... it was my youngest uncle's car. Frankly, I never pay much attention to cars. But this time, his car really caught my eyes. Hmmm... the car gives off a very classy feel and I love it... that is the kind of car I'd like to get in future, that is if money is not an object at all. I heard he bought the car for 200K SGD.

Haha... I told boyfriend that it'd be good if we could borrow his car on our wedding day. Yeap, I am having designs on his car already!!!!!

Aljunied was the next stop after CCK. We went to pay respects to my late foster grandmother. It was only then I realised she did not have any biological children. She adopted 4 children and my mother was the youngest. To be honest, I am really proud of her. Her husband passed away when the children were young and she had to bring up the children single-handedly. I don't think I'd ever be able to do that.

Despite the hectic morning, I went for a whole day of mahjong session with boyfriend and his colleagues after that. Haha.... and I was glad I went because.. I won sufficient money to cover my lunch for the next two weeks. Sadly, I spent most of it already. I wouldn't mind more mahjong sessions to earn some pocket money for lunch... It's a profitable activity to do when luck is on your side!

It was a window-shopping day today. I checked out the havaianas store at Ion Orchard as I wanted to get brother-in-law to get for me from Sydney. The pair I want to get is selling for 60 SGD here! Can't believe it's so expensive!!! I reckon it'd be much cheaper to get it from Sydney. Hopefully at most 50SGD? I went to Miu Miu, Prada and LV too. I'd like a bag and a long wallet.

My brother-in-law may be flying to Paris in April. Woohoo!!

EUR is dropping... it's a good chance isn't it? I am going to buy some EURO for the goods soon!
