her tai-tai weekend
I absolutely adore my short-lived tai-tai life over the weekend!
It all started on a fine Saturday morning. I went for fortune-telling at Fortune Centre. I've always been interested in getting my fortune read. However, this time, things turned out to be different for me. The words were unpleasant to my ears. Even before I asked if I could switch to another job this year, he told me that I had to stay on to my current job until next year. If I switch to another job, the situation will be much worse than now. He added that there would not be any 'progress' expected too. I was extremely disheartened and this could probably mean a really slim chance of becoming full-time in TS isn't it?
Whatever people do to me in my job, I have to 忍 until next year. That was what he advised me repeatedly. I don't know what further shit I can expect at work and I am totally saddened that I can't even do anything about it except to 忍 until next year.
After the consultation with the master, my mood was pretty bad. That was when my tai-tai weekend started. I had to do something to make myself feel better. LOL!
I went for dim sum at East Ocean with my family thereafter. It's been quite sometime since I had dim sum... I should probably hold on to my dim sum cravings until I travel to Macau/HKG where authentic dim sum can be found! Shopping at Banana Republic after dim sum was up next. There was a gigantic sale (70%) at Banana Republic. I did not manage to get anything for myself though. I saw a few dresses which I really liked but sizes were not available. In the end, I only spent on two shirts for boyfriend. I really like the shirts..and I'm sure nice shirts will make look great on boyfriend!
Actually, Saturday's shopping was mostly done for boyfriend. Besides the two shirts, I bought two more berms for him as well. For 130 SGD spent, I purchased two berms and two BR shirts. It was a good bargain, isn't it? Most importantly, boyfriend loved them!
Oh... the last episode of my tai-tai weekend ended with a long facial treatment at Lucky Plaza. There was my short-lived tai-tai weekend; dim-sum, shopping and facial! I'm missing a fragment of it to make it perfect - MAHJONG!
LOL.
I am looking forward to more of such weekends!
My sister has cancelled her flight to Paris because of the Iceland volcano erruption. And what does that mean for me? No Miu Miu bag and YSL wallet :( !!!!!!!!!!!!
What a joke, isn't it? It happened just when you wanted something so badly... I can't believe this!
Nevertheless, I am going to HKG to find my YSL wallet and check if the price is cheaper.
As for the Miu Miu bag, I might be getting one of my colleagues to buy for me when she visits Paris in June!
I'm so determined to get them!!!!!!!!!!
My poor boyfriend just rang me from his camp. He had to book in by 2200 today... I was thrilled yet astonished to see him on Saturday night. Haha... his new haircut was really terrible. LOL. I couldn't help but kept laughing at his haircut.
Looks like a very abnormal haircut to me (he looks like "Elmo!")
We didn't do much on Saturday night... watched incredible tales and had a catch-up session. I didn't want to stay too late either. I knew he was tired and I left early so he could have an early night.
I met up with Mei and Steph for dinner on Saturday too! I can't wait to fly kites and go Malacca with them in September!!!!
Hopefully Steph can confirm the date soon. Haha, we agreed that the trip will just be for the three of us.
