moving on

I am finally moving on to a new role after being close to 1.5 years.

Yeap, my manager announced that I will be moving on to become full-time in TS. The director has given the green light for me to move on to a more challenging role too.

Thanks for this, PJ!

I'm happy to be given this opportunity to shine. I always want to pursue my interest in TS. Well, not that I am really satisfied being stuck in Ops, I do think that that the new role is more value-adding compared to my current one. I'm not sure how long I'd stay on to the new role because I'm still hoping to get out of the team actually. I'm hoping my next job will be a finance-related one.

I'd love to be a product controller.

For the time being, I am just satisfied with the new upcoming role.

I can't wait to get out of recon. Hopefully somebody will replace me soon. I'm getting really tired of the recon.

I'm not sure what to expect from people but people are expecting a hell lot from me on the statistics. Out of recon where as TS is concerned, I try my best to help out in my own capacity. Till now, I don't think I've let anyone including myself down. I could have continued on with my current role for as long as can be... But I really don't want to do this anymore. It's a much easier role to do. I'm sorry, that's just not me. I don't want to be somebody who goes to work everyday and wait for pay day every month!

I'd feel rather useless. In fact, I feel useless now. I want to learn more about FX Derivatives - Options. Things like what is a straddle, strangle, butterfly and etc...We used to learn all these in university. But... there is more than meets the eye when it comes to the workings of it in reality.

I want to enrich myself.

I'm not sure why I am feeling uneasy ever since the announcement. I should be happy about it...but I just do not have a good feeling. Hmmm.... Maybe I'm thinking too much again?

When things get official, I will start afresh and get motivated to work hard.

Yet another happy news from Clarissa.

The girls are all in line to get hitched! Can't believe this.

Still... I don't think boyfriend and myself will be ready for this so soon; not at least 2 or 3 years later.

I'm enjoying the way things are now.
