my beautiful weekend

Boyfriend returned from his Korea trip on Friday night! Hmmm... I felt that time dragged its feet badly when he was not around. I always had to find things to do so that time would pass more quickly. I did quite a bit; I kept up with the news, worked on my procedures manual and wrote letters to him. There you go, a week zoomed past!

On Friday night, boyfriend had wanted to come over to my place after dropping his luggages at home. It got quite late by the time he got home...and he was tired so I told him to rest at home instead. I knew he must be rather tired from the days of non-stop travelling in Korea. Of course, I wanted him to have a good rest too. Nonetheless, we met up the next day!

He came over to my place with a huge bag of Korean snacks for my family! A lot of chocolates for my chocolate-lover dad and some presents for me! I must say, I was very surprised by the gifts he bought for me. He's not a fashionista nor one who knows anything about facial products. He came to me with 2 tops and 2 facial products from Face Shop. It was a really pleasant surprise from him!

He bought me a bubble massage cleanser and a peeling gel from a new product line, "The Odbo". I've tested the products... and am satisfied with the results of it. LOL, this new product line will only be released in Spore 3rd quarter of the year at Face Shop stores.

Does anyone believe in telepathy? I do!

One of the tops which boyfriend bought me from Korea was similar to one I bought from Bugis village! Now I have two similar floral tops with different prints!! I will post a picture of this pair of twin floral tops in a bit!

And then... he made the best boyfriend:

She: You bought me so many gifts, what did you get for yourself?
He: I bought myself nothing except a lesson. That is, I can't live without Carrousel.

I was moved by his words.

I must admit that the week of being away from each other opened up our minds and pointed out how strong our feelings are for each other. Well... the length of period is definitely nothing but just a variable to us.

I am glad and lucky to have him back safely in Spore again.

At least, I should be able to sleep better now? Friday and Saturday nights were the only nights I slept really well in the week. On other nights, I simply couldn't rest my mind well. Again, too much was on my mind. Boyfriend, school loan repayments, work were the things on my mind.

I am relieved that I've straightened my thinking on some things. I'd rather give up travelling plans than shopping/designer bags to save up for the loan repayment. Haha. It does sound a bit ridiculous, isn't it?

If I shop and buy bags, then how will I be able to save up to repay my school loan at end of the year? Perhaps I'll repay a lump sum of 5000 SGD next month. I am still thinking. I am thinking of the Prada bag too (I went to Prada over the weekend and the bag costs 3910SGD, scarily disgusting price) LOL.

But one thing for sure is, I've decided to give up my end of year trip to Beijing. Maybe just somewhere nearer and cheaper for me. What a sad decision and option, isn't it?

I know that boyfriend will be happy with and proud of my decision.

Now... I have to work doubly hard for the year-end bonus! It doesn't have to be a lot. I just hope it'd be at least what I got this year and that's probably enough for me.

If the company thinks I deserve more, I am more than happy to honour the affirmation they have of my performance!

We'll see how it goes.

I am trying hard not to do any shopping from now till next pay day. I do hope I can keep to it and the situation is hopeful so far. I was shopping over the weekend and I was a bit bored with what I saw at the shops.

Besides saving up for the loan repayment, I need to save up for shopping in Hong Kong in July too! Shopping in Hong Kong should be a lot more fun and fruitful than in Spore.

Now, please don't let anything catch my eyes!!! To avoid shopping, I should pick up other weekend activities with boyfriend and friends instead.

I felt like I haven't been out of Spore in ages :( I can't wait for my Krabi trip end of June!! I still have a month more to shed the fats off! Can I lose 2KG by end of June? LOL. It's a difficult but challenging goal for me to work towards to.

I'll go jogging as and when I can and try to abstain from food which are high in carbo.

I am so proud of myself that I jogged thrice this week!! Yay. Keep it going, Carrousel.
