flying high on B
I received my mid-year appraisal grade today - B high!
I don't know if I should be happy about it. I had expected a B. Maybe not a B high. My last grade was a B mid.
Perhaps I should be happy over this small improvement?
It took me great effort to achieve this small improvement. She recognized my hard work for the past 6 months. The overall comments given were pretty positive but I felt that there seemed to be something holding back an A grade.
I asked her. I didn't feel like my questions were being answered. Forget it. Hmmm, I am more concerned about the future.
The past 6 months has become a history. I am satisfied with my grade but not happy with it.
My sister told me that B high was good enough. People who ace appraisals are near to be promoted. So, most people stay in B range for a few years.
I aim high. I want to get an A before I leave the team!
I will work harder.
