very much enough

Sunday, to my surprise, was unusually well-spent. I started my Sunday as early as 7AM as the families decided to bring forward tombsweeping this year.

We spent around 3 hours there and all of us were dead beat when we reached home. Most tried to catch up on sleep except me. I was busy finalizing the itinerary for Bangkok trip this weekend. I can't wait! As I was planning for the itinerary, I felt a little disappointed. The thought came to my mind again, "Why am I the one planning 80% of the itinerary again?"

Well... not that I really mind planning for the itinerary, but I do think that it is a guy's duty to do the planning for a holiday trip. Isn't a guy supposed to take care of all everything? Haha, that's what I thought so all along and ... I really want to take a chance to sit back and relax and not needing to do anything but enjoy the trip. But I just haven't been able to do so at all. I do like planning for trips but ... it just makes me feel like I am the only one involved in everything here. This is sad.

I realized that my blog entries are never complete without any mention of work.... and I am going to bring in work again here. This week was hell week because of the volatile JPY currency movements. Actually, I was not so much impacted. My colleagues who were taking care of JPY currency were the ones who suffered. But ... I was somewhat being dragged into this as well. Because I am the first one to get into office in the mornings, I was called up by my psychotic boss to cover my colleagues' work last Wednesday morning because she could not get them in time.

I was really annoyed. Firstly, I go to office early to do my work and not to cover for my colleagues. Secondly, I am already very tied up with morning reports and nobody has offered to help me all this while. What good reason should I be helping the rest in the team? I am not expecting anything in return for helping them... I really should stop helping out because nobody would appreciate it. Take for example, I helped out a trader to check on his trades booking (when it was not even within my job scope to do so) and I only got endless scoldings over phone calls from him the whole Friday morning.

I need a break from work!

Can't wait, can't wait for the weekend trip and looking forward to endless shopping sprees in BKK!

Haha, haven't been checking out bags for sometime. I guess, my bag craze is dying down a little. I am looking to invest in a nice clutch up next.
