We are already in the last month of 2011. I am not ready for 2012 yet.
A new year often brings pressure to develop new life goals - be it career, family or relationship related.
I don't want to think about it yet. I don't want to work my brains too hard, at least not at this late hour. I just want to relax and finish off this post with all I have to say.
I had a pleasant day today! To begin with, it was a great relief to hear from the dentist that there was nothing wrong with my teeth this morning. I had review with my dentist this morning as I've been facing mouth sensitivity problems for sometime. I was so worried that there would be decay or something and possibilities of tooth extraction? Yikes. This worrying thought has been on my month the whole week!
Though there isn't anything wrong with my teeth, the dentist said I needed to reduce my sugar intake. That means, less of favourite snacks such as chocolates and bubble tea! Trust me, I am already doing my best. I haven't touched chocolates since Thursday!
I love chocolates. Having to eat lesser of it is a torture to me. I am trying to give a test to this theory "Out of sight, out of mind!" if it works. I hope it does. If I don't see chocolates, I probably won't think of eating it.
Anyway, I shall continue with how pleasantly my day went. I finally got to try Wild Honey with Mr Wu today! I didn't think the food was worth the wait. It's probably just another overly-rated food place again. I definitely wouldn't visit the place anytime soon again. I had some retail therapy after our meal at Wild Honey. I just feel like I could shop and buy more .... but I know I shouldn't!
I gotta save up for better stuff.. like :
Pretty ?! Will take sometime to consider if I should get it.
I am glad that I managed to catch up with Mrs Lee today too! I haven't been able to join lunch and dinner dates with friends due to work on week days. I am glad I made the effort.. hopefully it'll be less busy at work next week so I can schedule lunch with the girls again.
When I got home today, I was so pleasantly surprised to see Charlotte!
I didn't know she was coming over today. She made my Saturday evening perfect :) It's such a joy to see her growing up and learning new things each time I see her. I've been wanting to bring her out to meet my friends! I thought I could do that for the Xmas party at Lilian's place next Saturday. Sadly, my sister told me she would be bringing Charlotte to her friend's place for a Xmas party as well.
